Shane grew up as an only child. Her parents were more focused on their careers and were distant from her until today. Her family were well-known celebrities in South Korea. When she turned 18, she moved back to Philippines to pursue her dream career.Despite being offered to stay in South Korea with her parents, Shane chose to move in the Philippines by herself. They argued, because she never wanted a celebrity life where everyone's eyes are on her. After a while, her parents finally decided to agree on her personal decisions and sent her to the Philippines, silently checking up on her.
